Sales Representative (Commission-Only)
Location: Remote, USA (Washington-based LLC)
Synapse Software is seeking motivated Sales Representatives to help grow adoption of our software products.
This is a commission-only opportunity, suited both for entry-level candidates eager to build a career in
sales and for experienced professionals who want to contribute to a growth-stage startup.
Responsibilities
- Source and engage potential prospects through outbound and inbound channels
- Qualify leads to assess fit and buying potential
- Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through close
- Collaborate with the Synapse Software team to refine messaging and sales process
- Represent Synapse Software professionally in all client interactions
Compensation
- Commission-only; earnings depend on closed sales and breadth of responsibilities assumed
- Multiple hires may be made to support growth
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working in a startup environment
- Ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously
- Prior software sales experience is helpful but not required

Technical Writer, Developer Experience
Location: Remote, USA (Washington-based LLC)
Synapse Software is seeking a technical writer to overhaul our documentation and develop
training materials as we bring Cortex Automate (our email monitoring and automation
platform) to market, with the goal of building and empowering a community of "citizen
developers". This role will work closely with our product team and our marketing team
to promote and grow the developer community.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and write documentation for our software products
- Plan and develop materials to train "developers" how to use our no-code automation platform
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to use documentation and training for promotional purposes.
Requirements
- Excellent written English (please provide a writing sample with application)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and describe them to a semi-technical audience
- Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working in a startup environment
Compensation
- $25-$50/hour DOE (between 10 and 20 hours per week anticipated)
- This is a 1099 contract position
