## The Problem Cortex Solves

On October 31, 2023, Ivanti announced that Cherwell Service Management — an ITSM platform used by an estimated 2,000+ organizations worldwide — would reach End of Life on December 31, 2026. After that date, Cherwell will no longer function, even for on-premise installations.

Standalone automation platform for service management, triggered by email, API, webhooks, or system events. Integrates with Halo, GLPI, EasyVista (in progress), InvGate (planned). Features include multi-mailbox monitoring, text extraction, ticket creation, API calls, and local LLM/AI processing.
