Synapse Software is seeking a technical writer to overhaul our documentation and develop training materials as we bring Cortex Automate (our email monitoring and automation platform) to market, with the goal of building and empowering a community of “citizen developers”. This role will work closely with our product team and our marketing team to promote and grow the developer community.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and write documentation for our software products
• Plan and develop materials to train “developers” how to use our no-code automation platform
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to use documentation and training for promotional purposes.

Requirements

• Excellent written English (please provide a writing sample with application)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and describe them to a semi-technical audience
• Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working in a startup environment

Compensation

• $25-$50/hour DOE (between 10 and 20 hours per week anticipated)
• This is a 1099 contract position
