About Us
Synapse Software is a small technology start-up located in Colorado Springs, CO. We specialize in mobile and networked client applications providing streamlined methods for people from myriad walks of life to connect with the people, places, and events that matter most to them. The company was first conceived by CEO Brian Parks in June of 2008 while he was working for another small technology startup in Seabright, NJ with the purpose of developing software with the users' needs as the primary driving force guiding the design and features of networked applications.
In July 2010, with the help of CTO Anthony Magee, Synaptogenesis, Inc. incorporated and began doing business as Synapse Software with the goal of applying the user-centric design principles to mobile applications to connect users with the information they want to know and specific advertisers with their consumers. Recent expansion has seen the addition of Business Manager Sara Cap to the team, as well as several part-time developers, primarily UCCS students with ties to the Bachelor of Innovation™ program.
Custom Mobile Applications
While marketing is extremely important, especially in a rough economy, it isn't everything. Synapse Software is optimally positioned to provide a wide range of custom mobile applications on a variety of platforms. We currently specifically support iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and most Android devices, but also have a desire to push the boundaries of the standard mobile device lineup with devices like the Kindle, Nook, and even an exploratory eye into the world of Microsoft's new Surface tablet. We won't take "no" for an answer when it comes to what we can do with a mobile device.
Custom Desktop and Network Solutions
Before smartphones became popular, Synapse Software (then barely even a fledgling company) specialized in network applications and desktop programs for Mac OS X, Windows, and various flavors of UNIX and Linux. We still maintain a strong emphasis on dekstop applications for a variety of situations and apply a wide variety of experiences to build a custom solution for just about any problem you can think of.
